Employee Relations Specialist:

BeMobile is growing! With over 85 locations across the country, we are expanding our HR team and seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to support our employees and maintain a positive workplace culture. This position is located in the Grand Forks, ND office.
The Employee Relations Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and promoting best practices in HR and company policies. Working closely with the HR Generalist, this position provides guidance and support to employees while prioritizing positive resolutions and maintaining confidentiality.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years prior HR employee relations experience
- Experience with federal employment compliance regulations
- Previous Multi-State employer HR compliance experience
Preferred requirements
- SHRM Certification preferred
- Flexible schedule availability for nationwide timezone coverage
- Problem solver using legal resources to solve situations
- Strong Communicator providing clear direction and expectations
Key Responsibilities:

Employee Support & Conflict Resolution
- Serve as a key resource for employees, addressing questions, concerns, and workplace issues.
- Facilitate conflict resolution through mediation, coaching, and proactive problem-solving.
- Ensure a safe and confidential space for employees to share concerns while providing fair and consistent resolutions.

Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations matters, ensuring confidentiality.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment regulations (EEOC, OSHA, I-9, etc.).
- Conduct exit interviews and manage unemployment claims filing.

Employee Engagement & Workplace Culture
- Identify workplace trends and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Develop and implement positive employee relations programs that foster engagement.

Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with HR Generalists and leadership to ensure clear communication of company policies and expectations.
- Provide guidance on best practices for employee relations and HR compliance.

Full-Time position; 40 hours per week. Minimal travel required upon approval. Must pass required MVR and insurance guidelines per the BeMobile Vehicle policy to drive to BeMobile events. Some training events are required.
