Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process transactions
- Prepare and serve food items according to customer preferences and company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining space
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to increase sales
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Sales skills to effectively upsell menu items and increase revenue
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Note: Previous experience in the food industry or culinary background is preferred but not required.
