Ben Bridge Jeweler's corporate office in Downtown Seattle is seeking an E-Commerce Business Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems to meet the organization's business needs. This position involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions. The Business Systems Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into technical specifications and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with internal and external project teams to help define, build, and support omnichannel efforts that work seamlessly across different devices, browsers, and digital and in store experiences.
• Provide technical oversight and big-picture oversight for development of implementations on the Commerce Cloud platform.

• Develop comprehensive system requirements documents, including functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• Create detailed system design documents, data models, and workflow diagrams to guide development and implementation efforts.
• Identify and enforce overall technology principles, framework and standards. Enforce and guide a technical and code review process to ensure all solutions are thoroughly vetted.

• Align the platform vision and overall roadmap with the technical requirements of the SFCC stack.
• Communicate technical needs and limitations clearly and effectively.
• Provide assessments and recommendations on the design of e-commerce systems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring platform integrity of the system.
• Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing.
• Leverage creative problem-solving skills to help the team bring projects in below budget and within deadlines.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to keep internal coding standards up to date; help to identify areas for efficiency across disciplines.
• Participates in feasibility analysis and doing POC’s for third party SFCC cartridge integrations.
• Assist with the technical design, using object-oriented design techniques.
• Assist with the estimation of development tasks.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with technical support teams to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in systems analysis and design.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 2 – 4 years In-depth systems Experience with Sales Force Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Sales Force Service Cloud and Sales Force CRM applications.
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in system administration with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure and technologies.
• 1 – 3 years' experience in the Retail industry.
• Experience with PowerBI or other similar reporting platforms.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Solid grasp of SFCC/Demandware API and development patterns and Salesforce Reference Architecture (SFRA).
• Salesforce Certification(s).
• Full stack development experience (both front-end and back-end)
• Solid grasp of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript; Cross-browser compatibility, W3C compatibility
• Prior development experience in Javascript (node.js) along with, PHP, SQL
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (both server and client side)
• Experience working in all phases of the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering to final delivery and support.
• Experience in handling end to end SFCC development/implementation projects with wide landscape of across various departments.
• Strong understanding of e-Commerce ecosystems and processes that include end-to-end data flows and processing from order management, inventory management, fulfilment, payment processors, customer service and other technologies that support a successful omnichannel strategy such as CRM, OMS, and ERP.
• In-depth knowledge of various client side and server-side technologies.
• Exposure to PII & PCI policies as well as Ecommerce security.
• Jira, Confluence, GitHub, BitBucket experience.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a fantastic attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Communicate effectively to IT management as well as business area experts with skills such as empathetic and active listening, and clearly and patiently articulate solutions.
• Self-driven and motivated.
• Experience working in a multi-brand environment.

Working Standards:

• Hybrid work schedule that requires work on site in Ben Bridge Jeweler’s Seattle Corporate office on assigned days.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed to support system maintenance and emergencies.

Pay Range: $121,000 - $135,000 per year

Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
