Job Description

Position Summary

Provides support in the areas of HR systems, reporting, employee relations and staffing.

Responsible for overseeing the HR compliance programs, such as EEO reporting,

Affirmative Action Reports, OFCCP audits and unemployment claims. This position

reports to the Plant Manager.

Position Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local employment laws along

with all company policies and procedures

Partner with branch contacts and third

parties to generate EEO reports, Affirmative Action Reports and OFCCP audit data

as required

Partner with branch contacts to

recommend improvements and/or solutions related to HR compliance activities

Lead the unemployment claim and appeal

hearing process

Provide support and guidance to managers

and employees on all HR policies and practices

Provide

support and guidance to managers and employees in the areas of employee

relations, staffing and training

Lead

the new hire process, including job requisitions, job codes and the online

onboarding system

Partner

with IT and branch contacts on the Dayforce HR system, including system

maintenance, system training, creating reports and implementation of new

technology

Lead

and/or participate in HR projects

Position Education And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in human resources
• Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
• Knowledge of HR compliance areas including AAP, EEO, OFCCP, FLSA, FMLA and ADA
• Experience writing and administering HR policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft system, along with excellent Microsoft Office computer skills
• Team oriented leader with the ability to manage multiple complex projects
