Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Participate in pipe threading and fitting processes.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting issues with plumbing systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of hand tools and their applications in plumbing tasks.
- Familiarity with wet side mechanical systems is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Previous experience or knowledge in construction plumbing is preferred but not required.
- A background in carpentry or maintenance person work can be beneficial.
