Skills / Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience performing Industrial Maintenance on Equipment
- 3 years of experience Managing a Maintenance Program and Technicians
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify root causes
- Expertise in using a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to analyze situations and devise effective solutions to equipment issues
- Ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a positive work environment
- Strong familiarity with Industrial equipment & maintenance
- Mechanically skilled, practical, logical thinking, hands-on
- Familiar with hand tools, power tools
- Proficient with reading a tape measure to 1/16th
- Computer skills (Microsoft products, emails, spreadsheets)
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, ability to communicate effectively
- Detail oriented
- Safety background
Responsibilities
- Assign tasks to Maintenance Tech’s. based on skillset & urgency and monitor progress of Maintenance Tech.’s on repairs
- Maintain documentation of scheduled Preventive Maintenance reports and ongoing Repair Records that are non-scheduled
- Coordinate with the Production Manager on timing of maintenance tasks
- Supervise, train, motivate and mentor the Maintenance Team, evaluating performance and addressing issues within the team
- Track maintenance costs and stay within budget constraints
- Ensure the Safety of the Maintenance Team and others while repairs are performed
- Monitor and maintain the organization of and upkeep of Maintenance Tools/Parts
- Ensure the response to Maintenance Requests in a timely manner
- Work well with others and have a team-oriented mindset
- Be supportive in a Management role to Production
