Position Summary
We are hiring Catering Delivery Contractors to pick up and deliver catering orders while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service. This independent contractor (1099) role allows for flexible scheduling, requiring a reliable vehicle and attention to detail. Your earnings are based on delivery fees and customer tips, which are set by third-party services.
Responsibilities
- Order Pick-Up: Retrieve catering orders from designated Ben’s Fast Food locations, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Order Delivery: Transport and deliver catering orders safely and on time.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers upon delivery.
- Clear Communication: Keeping an open line of communication with our support team for issues that arise.
- Problem Solving: Handle and report any delivery issues or order discrepancies.
- Documentation: Keep accurate delivery records using different links or apps.
- Food Setup: Set up food for customers as required.
Requirements
- Independent Contractor Status: This is a 1099 contractor role; drivers must manage their own schedules.
- Reliable Transportation: Personal vehicle must be insured, well-maintained, and capable of transporting catering orders.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record.
- Auto Insurance: Policy must meet the state’s minimum requirements.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Tax & Legal Compliance: Must complete a W-9 form and sign an Independent Contractor Agreement.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check if required.
