Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for fitting steel parts, tacking, or welding components to beams, columns, trusses, and other structural building elements. Your primary focus will be on the fabrication process, where attention to detail and quality assurance are paramount.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven welding skills in MIG welding with experience in MIG-pulse
- Ability to pass a Horizontal (2G) weld qualification test
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Detail-oriented with ability to inspect material for quality
- Able to read prints containing dimensions, common weld symbols, and weld specifications
