What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale position at Ben Tire Distributors - Neal Tire & Auto?
Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale will be responsible for achieving sales quotas through establishment of contact with existing customers, identification of new opportunities, and follow up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale will also monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue within the territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create and implement sales strategies that meet sales and productivity goals
- Build and nurture effective business relationships with all existing, new, and potential customers
- Provide superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations while staying within company policy and guidelines established by management
- Work with location managers within the territory to determine scope and availability of services and products offered
- Diagnose opportunities for customers through in-depth knowledge and expertise on services and products offered by Ben Tire Distributors
- Listen effectively and provide quick response to customer needs
- Communicate and promote programs and special pricing to eligible customers
- Keep up to date on industry rends related to products and services
- Update management on status of customers and sales through daily call reports and analytical sales reporting
QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with business-to-business sales
- Strong knowledge of tire products and industry trends
- Comfortable with territory travel on a daily basis
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Strong computer skills, with proven skills in Microsoft Office
- Able to communicate effectively with supervisor, co-workers, and customers
- Safety minded
- Valid driver’s license with Safe Driving Record
