What You'll Do
Your impact will span three critical phases of project management:
Pre-Construction
- Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) and sales teams to craft detailed schedules and actionable plans.
- Prepare comprehensive project manuals, ensuring PMs have the resources to succeed.
- Lead pre-construction site meetings with PMs, designers, and stakeholders.
- Walk owners through project details to align expectations from day one.
- Partner with the estimating team to support accurate and competitive project estimates.
In-Process Construction
- Elevate efficiency by developing and optimizing production systems.
- Host weekly production meetings to tackle challenges and set priorities.
- Keep schedules accurate and up-to-date in partnership with PMs.
- Ensure labor forecasting remains clear, visible, and actionable.
- Monitor job site progress, quality, and safety, providing proactive support to PMs.
- Lead weekly client meetings, strengthening relationships and keeping projects on track.
- Collaborate with PMs to manage change orders and ensure seamless communication.
- Track job costs, review financial performance bi-weekly, and deliver insights to leadership.
Post-Construction
- Drive smooth project closeouts, including final walkthroughs and owner checklist reviews.
- Schedule and manage warranty work efficiently, ensuring client satisfaction even after project completion.
- Maintain safety compliance through monthly team meetings and proactive oversight.

Candidate Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 years in residential construction, including managing multiple projects. Hands-on experience as a carpenter or tradesperson is a plus.
- Deep understanding of building techniques, materials, and industry standards.
- Estimating construction projects using software or spreadsheets.
- Strong math skills for budgeting, scheduling, and estimating.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency (Excel, Word, and other relevant programs).
- Proven ability to motivate and lead teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Initiative to drive positive change and improve systems and processes.
- Strong organizational skills and self-discipline to manage time and workload effectively.
- A passion for building-projects, structures, teams, and dreams!
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Business Management is preferred but not required.
