This role is client-facing and relationship-driven—you won’t be siloed or stuck behind spreadsheets all day. You’ll become a trusted advisor, helping small business owners understand their financial story and make smart, strategic decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing

Manage month-end close processes for 10–20 clients concurrently

Own the accuracy and quality of financial data for each client

Provide strategic insights to clients based on their financials—help them tell the story behind the numbers

Process payroll, payables, receivables, and perform reconciliations

Assist with 1099s and regular financial reporting

Communicate directly with clients, becoming a dependable partner

Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor or Owner on special projects and firm initiatives
What You Bring to the Table

Proven hands-on experience with multi-client bookkeeping

Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills

Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Teams, Bill.com, Expensify, and Gusto/ADP

Excellent time management skills across multiple clients and deadlines

Strong communication skills—written and verbal

Bonus points for experience in outsourced accounting or the medical industry (though not required).
