Flexible Work Schedule
Complex Challenging Work
$95-110K Base Bonus 100% Employer Paid Benefits
If you are a forward-thinking tax professional who is stuck in a firm with a reactive mindset, where the status quo is "good enough," then you need to keep reading.
Our firm has recently been engaged by a new-breed CPA firm with a leadership team that is more focused on client outcomes, providing exceptional pro-active tax consulting services, and treating their team like people vs. machines or assets. Our client is led by a team that spent years in a stereotypical CPA firm culture and finally had enough of the "status quo" and decided there has to be a better way!
Due to several major client wins and expansion over the last five years, our client is at a point in their growth where there is a strong need to add a seasoned Senior Tax Associate with a similar mindset.
Our client provides both strategic and tactical tax business planning, consulting, and compliance across several industries. Their target clients are business owners, corporations, and partnerships in the early stage, growth stage, or mature/tenured operations.
We are looking for someone ready to take on a Manager-Level opportunity with the following attributes:
- 3 years experience within a public accounting environment
- Roll up your sleeves mentality - a doer
- Strong technical skills
- CPA, EA or JD - or parts passed at a minimum
- A person that is comfortable interacting in a client-facing role.
- Work will include partnership, S-Corp, trust/estate and individual tax work. Individual tax work is predominately K1 and more complex work vs. straight-forward W2 income.
In exchange for your technical abilities and engaging, client-focused personality, our client is offering:
- Above industry-average base compensation
- Bonus that has averaged 9.5% the last three years
- 100% employer-paid benefits
- Work flexibility to adjust to your daily or weekly schedule
- A busy-season workweek that has averaged less than 52 hours over the last three years
If you are the kind of person who has been shaking your head the last few months to a year in your current role when you consider the narrow-minded, draconian leadership mindsets you're dealing with in your current firm, then this could be the role and firm for you.
