What You’ll Do
Client Relationships & Strategic Guidance

Manage a diverse book of business (primarily 1120S, 1065, and HNW 1040 clients)

Serve as the primary point of contact for client strategy and planning conversations

Be a resource for clients, educating and advising on both tax obligations and forward-thinking strategies

Lead with relationship—not just compliance
Tax Compliance & Advisory

Oversee preparation and review of complex returns for closely held businesses and high net worth individuals

Stay proactive with tax law changes and help clients navigate decisions

Contribute to a culture where 80% of seasonal work is completed before the April deadline—with balance intact

Conduct technical tax research and ensure team compliance with IRS and state regulations
Team Leadership & Mentorship

Train, coach, and mentor junior staff and associates

Support team development through thoughtful task allocation and ongoing feedback

Foster a culture of support, growth, and continuous learning
Business & Practice Growth

Help expand service offerings within your client book

Contribute to internal growth initiatives and strategic goals

Represent the firm at industry events and trainings—they invest in your voice and visibility
What You Bring
-
CPA or EA license (active or in-progress)
-
3 years of tax experience in public accounting or advisory

Comfortable leading client conversations and managing a team

Solid technical knowledge and strong client-service instincts

Experience with SMB clients and advisory-minded work

A mindset that balances structure with flexibility, and leadership with humility
