Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Seeking a server that is guest oriented and values building genuine connections with our guests and providing a high level of service.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast system or similar tools.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest relations.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and service areas to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to food handling regulations.
- Follow service standards to ensure guests feel valued, seen & heard during every visit
- Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive dining experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred but not required.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing bills effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality of service.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as Toast/Resos is a plus but not mandatory.
