Responsibilities
- Grant and manuscript preparation :
Assist with research and preparation of scientific grant applications and manuscripts.
Track and manage grant application requirements, including submission deadlines and specific criteria.
Work on individual investigator grants, multi-PI grants, and research center grants.
Plan, organize, and manage logistics for the BRI seminar series, including WIP, Research Crossroads, and Wilske series.
Provide support to PIs at both BRI and VMMC.
Reports to the Manager, Science Writing Group.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences or related field, and 3 - 5 years of experience in scientific editing and project management, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
