A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RELATIONSHIP SPECIALIST
As a Relationship Specialist, you cheerfully greet customers as they walk through our doors at the Farmville branch. You are the first point of contact for the majority of our customers and the first impression in the newest community we serve. Because of your friendly and service-oriented personality, building relationships with our customers comes naturally.
You stay busy as you efficiently process routine financial transactions for our customers such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments. You also have opportunities to utilize your product knowledge and recommend financial products and services to meet the current and future financial needs of our customers. During your workday, you maintain a cash drawer with all the proper controls, vouchers, receipts, security, proofs, ect., ensuring it balances at the end of each day. You also assist customers on the phone or online with basic financial transactions such as looking up account info, posting transfers, and taking loan applications in a timely, accurate, and friendly manner. You answer questions about our products and services to both existing and potential customers and are empowered to solve problems.
As an ambitious learner and team member, you eagerly take on all service opportunities - from the easy going to the challenging. Your service tasks include new account processing, updating customer and account information and providing needs-based solutions for customers. You enjoy being part of a fun, supportive team, but most of all you love serving our customers and go home at the end of the day feeling great about the service you've provided them!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of previous banking experience preferred
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Experience working with the public and handling money
- Basic math and computer skills

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. The scheduled hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You can enjoy having your weekends off!
Salary Range: $18.07/hr. - $24.11/hr.
