What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Team Crew Member position at Benchmark Companies?
Benchmark Companies LLC is looking to expand its staff by hiring a crew member for our mulch installation division. Using specialized trucks, we install mulch directly into the required areas of shopping centers, apartment complexes, and HOA's. Requirements:
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to consistently pull 50 lbs (125ft) hose and lift 50 lbs
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and detail oriented
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Bi-lingual skillset adds value to application but is not required
Responsibilities:
- Install bark and other mulches into landscape bed areas on various properties
- Loading/Re-loading/Unloading of truck materials
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner to ensure client satisfaction.
- Perform precise clean-up of bark installation using leaf blower as needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and ongoing performance and reliability of truck, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting of repairs as needed.
- Ability to take constructive feedback from Supervisors.
- Proactively look for potential hazards, problems and overall safety as well as taking corrective action.
- Manage time wisely and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Exceptional attendance and reliability.
