Job Title: General Production, Molding
Department: Multiple, with primary being Molding
Reports To: Production Supervisor, Molding Department
Shift Hours are: 3:00pm -1:30a.m. Monday - Friday
Summary: Performs a variety of operations utilizing cutting equipment to shape, or form parts to specifications. Using a variety of methods and equipment, prepares parts, assembles/fabricates parts, packaging, assembly of webs may also be required. Consistently acts as a representative of Benchmark Foam by personifying the company’s Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned, including cross-training and/or working in other departments.
· Prepares parts for finishing by sanding, buffing, cleaning and filling
· Power sprays hard coating on parts
· Removes parts from equipment, inspects for quality and/or packs parts according to order
· Sorts parts
· Assists in setting wires to cut foam, and/or CNC set-up and cutting
· Assists in moving foam blocks from block mold to inventory location and potentially to Cutting department
· Assists in getting and loading bead for block molder, in order to expand
· May be trained as a back-up to running block mold and/or expanders

· Hand Saw
· Pneumatic clamp
· Hot wire cutting equipment
· Tape Measure
· Wrapper (machine that wraps foam bundles)
· Operate Fork Lift
· Scale for verifying weights of finished parts and/or raw materials
· Auto lift Pallet jacks
Job Specific Competencies:
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weight, measurement, volume, distance. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer hardware and software. Capable of logging in/out of job orders on computer, issuing materials, etc. Training also available and will be given.
Other Qualifications
Eighteen (18) years of age or older.
