Must have one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection or Electrical Engineering and 1 year of work experience in the Fire Alarm design industry.
- 5 years of applicable work experience in the Fire Alarm field or in Fire Alarm design with demonstrated skill with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Combination of education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.
The Fire Alarm Designer will utilize Fire Alarm design concepts to produce full sets of construction documents for commercial building projects. The Fire Alarm Designer will train and work with licensed professionals in a collaborative team to perform a variety of design tasks. An understanding of AutoCAD and Revit to design and develop construction documents for our multiple types of projects is needed. This position may require minimal travel.
