JOB SUMMARY
Following a recent rebrand, we are looking for a talented Marketing Manager with a passion for luxury hospitality to join the journey. With a continuous pathway of evolution ahead, this role is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing at Boston’s only waterfront Forbes Five-Star & AAA Five Diamond hotel.
The Marketing Manager will execute and assist in developing Boston Harbor Hotel’s marketing efforts to ensure they align with corporate strategies in order to maximize growth and profitability for the urban resort and its respective brands.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation, implementation, monitoring, and analytics of the hotel’s digital marketing, social media, email marketing, online reputation, and public relations strategies. This role will work in close collaboration with the various teams to increase visibility, relevance, community engagement, and overall patronage of the hotel through effective, strategic and consistent marketing efforts. This role will also oversee a Digital Marketing Coordinator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop marketing plans, media strategies, and budgets in conjunction with Regional Director of Sales and MarketingOversee Digital Marketing Coordinator and associated responsibilitiesStrategic management through Google Analytics regarding e-commerce and marketing related tasks, while sharing reporting on a monthly and quarterly basisOversee and direct market research and competitor analysis in collaboration with the management teamOptimize efficiencies of digital media strategies across search, display, social, and metasearch channelsDaily communications and collaborations with third-party partners including Preferred Hotels & Resorts, public relations and digital agenciesMaintain all aspects of the website, blog, and content strategy in conjunction with Digital Marketing CoordinatorOversee CRM and manage all email marketing strategiesDevelop, manage, and market a broad range of events and activations, including seasonal programming such as the Boston Wine & Food Festival and Summer in the CityDevelopment and distribution of all print and digital marketing collateral, including in-room technologyCoordinate, prepare, and deliver brand communicationsEnsure that the representation of the hotel’s brand is consistent and present throughout all online mediums including website, third-parties, digital campaigns, and social channelsCreate unique package offerings to promote the urban resort and associated offerings including but not limited to weddings, boutique retail store, food and beverage offerings, etc.Manage brand reputation across online review platforms such as Google, TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc.Oversee implementation of innovative social media campaignsLead hotel photo shoots and manage digital asset management softwareMonitor trends and the latest applications in digital marketing, email marketing, and social media, while appropriately applying and communicating that knowledge at the hotelHost FAM trips and coordinate media visits in conjunction with public relations teamServe as a main point of contact for in-house marketing including but not limited to any group needsQualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
1-3 years of Marketing or Communications experience (Hospitality exposure preferred)Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environmentStrong managerial abilities, collaborative skills, and creative mindAbility to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work with maximum efficiency, accuracy and attention to detailMust have experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and industry relevant Digital Marketing systemsStrong presentation and communications skills, proficiency with programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with a teamAbility to exercise sound logic and judgement in evaluating situations and utilizing appropriate resourcesMust be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work proficiently quickly in a high-pressure & fast paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writingBachelor’s degree, preferably specializing in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business or equivalent experience is required.J-18808-Ljbffr
