Our Industrial Operations department is hiring a Learning Center Activities Manager to leading the development of the Learning Center curriculum. The Learning Center serves as a training ground for individuals with significant disabilities to enhance their skills and be positioned for community integrated employment. This role would manage operations, oversee customer satisfaction, ensure safety, quality & inventory control, contract negotiations and financial management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate a professional, fun and exciting work atmosphere through leadership and motivation
- Create, Manage and oversee the Training Center curriculum for participants with disabilities including the following topics: Career Readiness, Critical Thinking, Financial Literacy, Healthy Mind & Body, Arts & Entertainment, Job Exploration, Safety, Self-Advocacy and Science & Technology
- Teach the lesson plans to Training Leads providing oversite, active engagement and collaboration so they are able to effectively conduct training to their participants
- Ensure classroom setup and technology readiness
- Assist in planning community interactive experiences with Community Connections Manager
- Provide management and oversight of our financials leveraging P & L statements
- Review and forecast monthly, quarterly and yearly projections
- Responsibility over Security, OSHA, and overall building and equipment maintenance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Basic experience with computers, computer-based training applications, TV & video
- Ability to create, manage and oversee the Training Center curriculum
- Experience to teach lessons plans to Training Leads
- Effective communication skills with staff, management, individuals with disabilities and other internal and external stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities preferred
- Background in an education field preferred
