- Provision of services via assessment, plan development and monitoring of progress towards the outcome, training and support to family members in implementing the IFSP.
- Refer for medical or other professional services necessary in the child's care.
- Environmental consultation to ensure that appropriate adaptations and safety issues for the eligible child have been incorporated as set forth in the IFSP.
- Documentation of services provided as reflected in IFSP.
- Complete necessary documentation to facilitate reimbursement through primary funding sources (i.e., Medicaid, First Steps, etc.)
- Comply with First Steps Provider Agreement in regard to continuing education, etc.
- Promotes activities in the natural environment to enhance implementation of IFSP.
- Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
- Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals
- Ability to supervise others
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer and paperwork skills
- Valid Driver's License.
- Licensed by the State's Speech Pathology and Audiology Board
- Meets criteria for First Steps Provider Enrollment
