Position Summary
This full-time Personal Injury Attorney will be assigned their own caseload, including cases in pre-litigation through trial and will further desire to develop new sources of client referrals to contribute to their professional growth.
This individual will vigorously represent clients and will take ownership of each case, with responsibility for settlement demand letters, negotiations, pleadings, law and motion and matters relating to trial preparation. This individual should desire to participate in trials, including first chair opportunities.
While experience, including trial experience, is highly preferred, we may be willing to train the right candidate who has an interest about this area of the law. We envision this position to be long-term with room for significant growth.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 base, plus commission. The Personal Injury Attorney is also eligible for the following benefits:

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 base, plus commission. The Personal Injury Attorney is also eligible for the following benefits:

- Represent clients in various types of cases, including products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, government claims and other personal injury matters.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential business opportunities while managing an existing caseload.
- Complete pre-litigation demand letters and negotiate with adjusters and/or lawyers in a pre-litigation setting.
- Draft complaint documents and other initiating pleadings, while also responding to responsive motions, such as demurrer, motions to strike, etc.
- Oversee and/or draft and respond to discovery, including discovery motions.
- Take and defend depositions, including of defendants, witnesses, and experts.
- Routine court appearances, law and motion hearings, trial setting conferences, status conferences, informal settlement conferences and other court hearings.
- Respond to motions for summary judgment/adjudication and appear for oral argument.
- Prepare for and participate in trials as either first or second chair.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Licensed member of the State Bar of California, in good standing.
- At least 3 years of litigation experience.
- Ability to manage pre-litigation and litigation files and trials.

- Ability to successfully multi-task during deadline intensive periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of individuals.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and complete projects.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Additional State Bar Licenses, in good standing, are preferred but not required.
