Rise Construction is a Houston-based self-performing general contractor and real estate developer. With over 40 years of construction experience, we specialize in turn-key new construction, tenant build-outs, and construction management. Our specialties include franchise builds, real estate development, hospitality, industrial, multi-family housing, and healthcare projects. We proactively identify opportunities that maximize our clients' value through meticulous pre-construction planning and estimation services.
GENERAL ROLES
- Super Intendent will directly comply with and maintain accountability to department core processes
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes
- Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget.
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and report on project progress.
- Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities.
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance
- Keep track of material stock and orders
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
- Communicate with the Project Manager on any changes to the scope of work for change order submissions
- Provides overall management and administration for construction projects
- Meets construction schedule, financial goals, and quality/safety standards
- Monitors subcontractor performance to ensure schedules and quality objectives are met
- Plans, organizes and supervises projects/ communicates objectives
- Monitors budgets and schedules to ensure targets are met
- Reviews Change Orders, RFIs, and Submittal schedules
- Prepares procurement schedule, coordinates purchasing, and monitors critical path and long lead items
- Thoroughly understands the contract and ensures accurate execution of plans, specifications, statements of work, performance work statements, task orders, safety plans, quality control plans and all other project-related plans and procedures
JOB SKILLS & ABILITIES GUIDELINES
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
- Broad understanding of the industry
- Ability to read plans and find inconsistencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Min 5 years of experience in commercial new construction construction management or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Experience supervising commercial construction projects, managing budgets, and procuring materials and equipment necessary for the project
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
