Our Client a Trading Technology firm is seeking a motivated data visualization developer to join their team in building sophisticated financial data visualizations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern visualization libraries like D3.js or High Charts, strong TypeScript fundamentals, and enthusiasm for creating intuitive ways to represent complex data. This role offers significant growth potential and mentorship from seasoned full stack developers.
Their tech stack is Typescript/React on the frontend and C#/.NET on the backend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data visualizations using D3.js or similar libraries, focusing on charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards for financial data
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement best practices for performance and accessibility in their visualization components
- Pick up tickets as need to contribute to the rest of web interface as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to grow your expertise in TypeScript, React and financial data visualization.
- Work with quantitative analysts to visualize the results of their work.
Requirements:
- Technical:
- 4 years of professional web development experience
- Strong foundation in TypeScript
- Demonstrated experience with D3.js, HighCharts, Kendo, or similar visualization libraries
- Understanding of React fundamentals
- Non-technical:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn
- Miscellaneous:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with financial data or trading applications
- Experience with real-time data visualization
