About the Role
Our direct client is embarking on a key systems conversion project, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support this critical initiative by documenting business requirements, conducting gap analyses, and working closely with the Project Manager stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who can learn quickly, work independently, and effectively translate business needs into technical requirements. Experience in the aviation industry is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand current business processes and identify gaps between current and future systems.
- Document detailed business requirements and workflows to support the migration.
- Conduct gap analysis between legacy and new management system platforms.
- Collaborate with the project manager and development team to ensure accurate requirement translation.
- Facilitate discussions, provide insights, and push back when necessary to ensure the project stays on track.
- Support testing, validation, and change management activities.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven projects.
- Experience in agile methodology environments
- Experience in software migrations, system integrations, or process reengineering.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating remotely across teams.
- Excellent documentation skills (BRD, user stories, workflows, gap analysis).
- Aviation industry experience is a plus but not required.
Work Arrangement & Timeline
- Location: Shelton, CT (on-site required, with some hybrid work and remote collaboration).
- Start Date: March 2024 (subject to budget approval).
