We’ve been exclusively retained to identify a strong Accounting Manager / Controller for a growing middle-market company in Midlothian, TX. This is an in-office leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Manage general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and variance analysis in partnership with leadership
- Prepare internal financial statements and support external CPA relationships
- Implement process improvements and support ERP utilization
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Solid understanding of GAAP, processes, and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP similar to Sage Intacct or NetSuite
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
