Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechanical system designs using CAD software, conduct feasibility studies, and validate designs through simulations and testing. Ensure high-quality engineering documentation.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop plans, allocate resources, and track progress.
- Mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide expert technical guidance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and product management, to ensure seamless system integration.
- Maintain detailed technical documents and ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, identify process enhancements, and establish performance metrics for internal and external clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 12 years in mechanical engineering, with project and team leadership experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software modeling and drafting (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Creo, Onshape, CATIA, DVX, NEST).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Familiarity with structural engineering concepts is a plus.
