Our client is seeking a Senior International Analyst to perform complex tax accounting assignments supporting both the Corporate Accounting and Tax departments. This role is Dallas based and offers a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing various federal and international income tax returns, VAT/GST filings, and other relevant reports for both corporate and flow-through entities.
- Prepare and review tax journal entries, as well as federal and international income tax estimated payments and extensions.
- Calculate book-tax differences and perform other calculations related to ASC 740.
- Prepare and analyze complex tax calculations.
- Participate in the preparation and review of income tax provision processes.
- Support the maintenance and documentation of transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations while minimizing tax exposure.
- Communicate with outside vendors, customers, taxing jurisdictions, and internal teams to provide tax-related input and address potential liability issues.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of professional experience managing federal and international tax and accounting matters within a public accounting firm or a publicly traded company.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline is required.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform complex tax and accounting analyses, including account entries and adjustments.
