Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Nursing Assistant to join our team at Benchmark Senior Living. As a CMT, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver care to residents in a safe and efficient manner.
- Document all aspects of care delivery, including medication administration and resident status.
- Communicate with healthcare professionals and other staff members to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration. You must also successfully complete medication technician competency review (as supervised by RN/RCD) quarterly.
CPR certification is required or ability to obtain within six months of hire. The Medication Technician must complete a state-approved training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion. Med-Techs will be evaluated on their competency by the RCD each quarter.
