We’re seeking a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our team at Benchmark Senior Living. In this role you will assist with annual operating budgets, maintain financial data, research accounting and budget history, and prepare financial reports. This role reports to the Senior Director of FP&A.
Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of annual operating budgets and evolution to rolling forecast model for all assigned business units.
Partner with Regional Directors of Operations as point of contact for budget creation.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop operating budgets that may include HR, Risk Management, IT, Sales & Marketing.
Enter and maintain accurate financial data and run reports from personnel and financial databases.
Research accounting/budget history and conduct data collection for current year budgeting and forecasting.
Provide support in testing and regular maintenance of budget system as needed.
Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed to support organizational needs.
Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with data and information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related with 2-5 years of related work experience.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel skills strongly desired.
Experience with reporting/query tools required, with BI applications specifically desirable.
Knowledge of general budgeting and accounting principles required to be able to assist and manage portions of the annual budget process.
Excellent communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
