What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Benchmark Site Development?
Benchmark Site Development, LLC is a family-owned, sitework development contractor located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. With over 100 years of combined sitework experience, Benchmark Site was founded in 2013, and has been offering a range of services throughout the Delaware Valley Region ever since. We are currently seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to join our expanding team of employees.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operates one or more types of heavy construction equipment – excavators, backhoe, dozer, etc…
- Performs daily equipment maintenance – cleaning, greasing, checking fluids
- Adheres to OSHA policies and Safety procedures
- Performs all work in a safe manner
- Ensures equipment is safely and securely parked nightly
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred but not necessary
- Valid driver’s license
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Work Locations/Hours
- Delaware Valley Area (PA, NJ, DE)
- Work locations vary based on job sites
- Full-time
- Year-round work as weather permits – Commercial snow removal in the winter
