Hiring Cashier

Benchmark State Liquor Store is hiring a personable, accountable cashier to process wholesale and retail transactions accurately.

Responsibilities include:

· Greet customers when they enter the store and thank them when they leave the establishment

· Take wholesale orders then pull, scan, and box products for delivery

· Guide customers to products and provide relevant information

· Scan goods and collect payment

· Handle cash, check, and credit card transactions

· Provide excellent customer service

· Help maintain clean and tidy store

· Stock shelves and manage warehouse inventory which will require occasional lifting of heavy objects

Requirements:

· Working experience in retail cashier or sales

· Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (cash register, credit card processing equipment, etc.)

· Strong communication skills

· Customer satisfaction oriented

· Attention to detail

· Be physically able to move heavy objects

Position Details:

~11 hours per week - Saturday - 12:00-3:00, Monday - 10:00-2:00, Tuesday 2:00-6:00

Compensation:

· Starting wage of $18.00 per hour to be reviewed and adjusted within 3 months

· Year-end bonus given annually

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
