Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Care - Cleveland

Benchmark is committed to providing the highest standards of Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy for patients in their homes. We currently service all over Ohio including the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area, as well as Columbus. We place a strong value not only on the patients and the agencies we work with but our employees as well.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepares patients and equipment for therapy and implements treatment plans specified by the therapist.
-Instructs the patient and guides them in exercises and stretching.
-Provides hands-on therapy and treatments.
-Records patients' reaction to treatment and provides status reports at the end of each treatment.
-Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
Requires a state physical therapist assistant license.
Reports to physical therapist
Skills:
-Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
-Experience in home care setting is a plus
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients , their caregivers and healthcare team members
-Ability to adapt to different patient needs and modify treatment plans accordingly based on their home environment.
-Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during therapy sessions
