Summary:
The Lean Sigma Champion provides expertise and guidance through the development, documentation, implementation, and validation of focused and sustainable value stream transformation. Support cross-functional collaboration in the identification, team formation, and execution of value stream activities. Promotes best practice sharing and implementation. Provides coaching and development opportunities to strengthen the overall capabilities within the site while emphasizing operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Alignment with regional and global strategy. Introduce and sustain Lean culture. Provides leadership, coaching and support in project identification, and prioritization through the implementation of Lean Methodologies such as: VSM, TPM, SMED's 5'S Standard work, Pull System, continuous flow, etc. Aligns with local Lean rewards and recognition program. Assists Finance with collecting and organizing data to accurately track and report project savings. Responsible for Lean metric reports and data integrity. Completes Quarterly Lean Maturity Assessment. Complies and follows all company security policies and procedures. Train employees as requested in Lean and Six Sigma tools leading to Lean Practitioner, White < Yellow, Green Belt Certification. Provide leadership, coaching and support in business analysis, process initiatives and DMAIC projects to produce measureable productivity gains.

Responsibilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required
- Effective organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field preferred
- 2 years in experience in IE, ME, QE, Planning, Line Management or equivalent position.
- Bronze Certification through Benchmark, recognized or accredited organization.
- Experience in change management or project management
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrates leadership in lean behavior, culture, Principles and Philosophies
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification through a recognized or accredited organization.
- Experience with Minitab® or similar software preferred.
- Proficient in flow charts and process mapping.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion for Lean principles and tools
