Job Summary
The Superintendent oversees the construction projects onsite to achieve financial, schedule, and quality goals as defined by Project Director and Managing Director. Coordinates all onsite construction activities while maintaining the highest quality workmanship and site safety, supervising all field personnel, and finishing projects on time and within budget. We are looking for someone to be located in either Nashville, TN or Charlottesville, VA areas.
General Accountabilities
- Supervises and coordinates all onsite construction activities.
- Must build according to the Project Documents, Code, and Project Schedule.
- Must work with the Project Management team to build to the Project Budget.
- Be able to identify and solve problems.
- Able to read and understand construction drawings.
- Be able to help build and maintain the Project Schedule on MS Project.
- Coordination of multiple subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepares, schedules, and supervises completion of a final punch list.
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
- Prepare project Daily Reports to document weather and field conditions, manpower and equipment, progress and conditions impacting the project, as well as Accident Reports, Quality Reports, etc. within Procore.
