We are seeking an energetic, self motivated, Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in the fast paced world of commercial construction. Benco is a fast growing, multi-million dollar construction company specializing in Division 10 Specialties. You will be assisting the General Manager to start and eventually joining a team responsible for the management of multiple construction projects based primarily in the Metropolitan area. This is a full-time, mainly office based position. Perfect for someone who recently graduated with an Engineering Technology degree or is in process of obtaining one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and vendors.
- Develop a project plan to help monitor and track progress of projects.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Successfully manage relationships with clients.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Unique abilities provided by you
- Construction knowledge and experience preferred.
- Superior organization skills.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally, with both your team and customers.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and general knowledge of Adobe.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to read and understand construction contracts and interpret blue prints, specifications and plans a plus.
