Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to implement effective interventions tailored to each client's unique challenges.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients in various settings, including home and school environments.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members on best practices in behavioral health.
- Engage in diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning and monitor client progress over time.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Experience in special education settings or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation methodologies.
- Familiarity with data collection methods specific to applied behavior analysis.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding behavioral health strategies.
- Knowledge of best practices for working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating client progress and modifying interventions as needed.
