Your New Role At Bend Bioscience:

In this role, you will manage and/ or perform predictive, preventive and unscheduled maintenance on all Utilities equipment.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)

  • Manage and/or perform predictive and preventive maintenance and scheduled checks on Utilities equipment in accordance with SOP’s, cGMP’s and applicable regulations. This will include:

o Initiation, execution and close out of change control requests

o Investigation of deviations

o Technical writing

o Generation and / or revision of SOPs

  • Troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions on Utilities equipment

  • Coordinate and oversee vendors, outside contractors and internal staff during commissioning, servicing and repair of Utilities equipment

  • Provide assistance to validation staff during the execution of validation work on Utilities equipment

  • Perform operations maintenance on facilities and utilities equipment


Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED plus 2-year degree in a technical, engineering or scientific field from a college or vocational training institution. Demonstrated ability and on-the-job experience may substitute for the 2 year degree.
  • Five (5) years' experience as a maintenance technician in a technically complex manufacturing/ industrial environment, with experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and commissioning mechanical, controls, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment.
  • HVAC experience preferred
