As a small start-up, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team and help us build lasting relationships with our patients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing excellent care. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, small-office setting. In addition, this candidate would be willing to work full-time (4 days a week- Monday's off!), is looking for a long-term fit, and would like opportunity for growth within a team. We have a culture of training and helping our staff receive the highest potential certifications.

Qualifications Requirements:
· Valid Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification in Oregon, including Radiology certification (Required)
· CPR Certified (Required)
· Sealant Certified (Preferred but not required)
· Valid Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with Restorative Functions License in Oregon (Not required)
· Experienced knowledge with Eaglesoft program a plus (Preferred but not required)
· Bilingual (Spanish. Preferred but not required. All Bilingual candidates should be able to assist in translation for our Spanish-speaking families)
· Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
· Excellent chairside manner and great communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and work well as a member of a team
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Desire to collaborate with the team to maintain office sanitation and cleanliness standards
Responsibilities:
· Assist the dentist during exams and procedures (including office-based general anesthesia)
· Office sanitization and disinfection
· Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
· Digital dental radiographs
· Preventive procedures (coronal polishing, silver diamine fluoride, sealants)
· Provide patients with oral hygiene/diet instructions as well as instructions for care following procedures
· Maintain patient records accurately and promptly
· Assist with patient scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
· Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Job Type: Full Time
· Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM-5:30 PM
· Friday: 7:00 AM-1:00 PM
· Surgery Days: 5:15 AM - approx. 3:00 PM.
Compensation/Benefits:
· Compensation: $28 - $36/hour - depending on certifications and experience
