Medical Call Center Scheduling Coordinator – Bend, OR
Bend Dermatology is seeking a full-time Call Center Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing Dermatology Group in Bend, OR.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced medical scheduler for a high-volume dermatology clinic. Must have 2 years minimum experience working in a medical or hospital call center. Attention to detail is imperative.
Our ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent customer service and communication skills. This position is the first contact with patients and business relations and therefore requires a high level of customer service.
Two years of experience as a medical appointment scheduler is required.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and handling a high volume of calls
- Scheduling appointments & referrals for 7 locations
- Obtain accurate new or established insurance information and verification that insurance is active and if a referral/authorization is needed for the appointment
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance in a medical office
Qualifications:
- Two years of patient scheduling experience in a medical practice or hospital setting- required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment- required
- Must have strong computer and MS Office skills
- Familiarity with insurance is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- A team-player attitude is essential

Monday -Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8- 4
Wage is determined by and commensurate with experience
