What you will be doing:
As an Asset Management Analyst at Bender Companies, you will play a vital role in driving the performance and compliance of our multifamily property portfolio. You’ll support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis, operational audits, and market research. Your expertise will help ensure our properties achieve peak efficiency, align with investor expectations, and maintain high standards of excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Financial Management
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analyses, including budgets, proformas, and historical performance reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and corrective action.
- Collaborate on the development and execution of operating budgets that align with investor goals and business strategies.
- Review and approve monthly investor reports and manage quarterly distributions.
- Lead financial performance strategies for assigned properties to drive optimal results.
Operational Oversight
- Audit onsite operations for leasing, collections, and overall process efficiency.
- Monitor key leasing metrics, application statuses, and renewal commissions.
- Perform detailed tenant audits to verify rents, security deposits, move-in fees, and Section-8 payments.
- Conduct weekly calls with Community Managers to set priorities and provide strategic guidance.
- Conduct property site visits at least six times per year to ensure operational excellence.
Capital Projects & Market Research
- Oversee capital project plans from initiation to completion, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to support benchmarking, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
Transaction Management
- Support acquisitions and dispositions by managing due diligence and ensuring smooth transaction execution.
- Serve as the primary coordinator for buy/sell activities.
- Manage lender communications and ensure timely reporting on post-closing repair obligations.
- Assist with refinancing, supplemental loans, and property sales.
Audits & Compliance
- Perform thorough audits on leasing sources, property processes, employee overtime, and expenses.
- Ensure alignment with underwriting standards through NOI trend analysis and accurate forecasting.
- Audit investor reports, unit turn boards, and renovation trackers to maintain high data integrity.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and long-term business plans.
- Assist in developing tools, software, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback, providing actionable insights for organizational improvement.
Where you will work:
- Office Presence: Work onsite at our corporate office 4–5 days per week.
- Property Visits: Travel to assigned properties every other month to ensure alignment with business plans and operational standards.

The pay range for this role is:
75,000 - 85,000 USD per year(Office)
