What We are Looking For:
Bender Companies is looking for an experienced real estate professional to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. Ideal candidates should be hard-working, reliable, honest, and excited to join the team. Organizational and maintenance skills are required. Candidates must also be self-motivated and be able to take direction well.
Pay: $26-$28 per hour
Here are some things that will make you successful:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Reliable transportation to get to work
- Ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Valid Driver’s License
What you will be doing:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll take the lead in managing our property's maintenance team. You'll be responsible for planning and overseeing the completion of work orders, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently. This role combines administrative support with hands-on involvement, allowing you to actively contribute to the team's success while overseeing operations
Core responsibilities include:
- Create a daily plan of action to maximize productivity
- Coordinate unit turns with vendors
- Ensure completion of all service requests, work orders, and other tasks as assigned
- Inspect the community on an ongoing basis, recording and correcting deficiencies
- Help conduct ongoing preventative maintenance
- Deliver notices to residents
- Responsible for being on-call in the event of an emergency
- Other duties as assigned
Where you will work:
This position will require you to work on-site at the property in Lansing.
