Job description
We are owner-operators of multi-family properties throughout the Midwest and are currently seeking an experienced real estate professional to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time position for an Apartment complex in Battle Creek, MI.
Ideal candidates should be hard-working, reliable, honest, and excited to join the team.
Spanish speaking is a plus!
Organizational and maintenance skills are required. Candidates must also be self-motivated and be able to take direction well.
Duties:
-Coordinate unit turns with Community Manager and Vendors
-Maintain grounds free of trash, leaves, and broken branches.
-Ensure completion of all service requests, work orders, and other tasks as assigned.
- Inspect the community on an ongoing basis, recording and correcting deficiencies.
- Help conduct ongoing preventative maintenance
- Deliver notices to residents
- Responsible for being on-call in the event of an emergency
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant maintenance experience
- Reliable transportation to get to work
- Ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and oral presentation skills
-Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history
