The role of the Commercial Property Manager at Benderson Development involves managing a portfolio of company-owned properties.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that daily operations meet Benderson Development standards.
- Manage building systems, including mechanical, parking, sweeping, landscaping, and general maintenance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, handling their concerns and requests, including after-hour emergencies.
- Maintain annual budgets and oversee capital improvement plans.
Responsibilities:
- Create project plans and manage construction/repair projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate repairs and upgrades to existing facilities and partner with the construction department on new construction or tenant buildouts.
- Perform regular inspections of properties, primarily common areas, dependent upon landlord obligations, location, and current projects on site.
- Understand emergency management policies for property management, including plumbing, electrical, telephone, fire, law enforcement, and lighting.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in commercial property management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand construction concepts and maintain knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines.
