We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to assist us with the development and maintenance of our public-facing vision benefits web site. The ideal candidate will possess experience working as a web developer who can develop complex features spanning from the presentation layer to the data access layer.
Responsibilities :
Enhance existing and add new functionality to the company web siteParticipate in web site testing and quality assurancePrepare documentation describing design, coding, and comprehensive testing scenariosProvide off-hours support for releasesTroubleshoot web-related issuesQualifications :
Must have high level of competency in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and supporting production-quality web sites.Professional Web application programming experience including expert knowledge of Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, EJB, JDBC, and XMLExperience with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, WordPress a plusExperience with web services and SAML requiredFamiliar with web-framework based development (JSF, MVC)Experience with Eclipse IDE, Subversion source code management tool, and AntUnderstand responsive web design, internet standards, and cross-browser compatibilityExperience working with database systems such as DB2 and a good working knowledge of SQLBS in Computer Science or related field / degree, and / or equivalent work experienceExperience with mobile development a plusIn addition to these qualifications, we also look for the following attributes :
