Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Gather all required information and prepare Form 5500 annual filings for Benecon and broker clients and consortium members. Work with account managers, brokers, clients, and auditors to submit all filings by their due dates. Update Form 5500 procedures as needed. Use database to ensure filings are not missed and are submitted before deadlines. Advise clients on issues relating to 5500 filings, including providing them with guidance on plan development, documentation and other compliance related to these filings.
- Prepare, coordinate, and edit department communications. These communications should address a variety of topics that are relevant to our clients and broker partners. Maintain mailing list and periodically review for accuracy.
- Develop and/or coordinate development of material for the Compliance Division’s company website material. Responsible for ensuring that this material is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate by requesting changes, updates, or additional information as needed. This material will include internally developed documents and charts, questionnaires, communications, website links, and questions & answers.
- Crosstrain in stop loss coordination/tracking.
- Responsible for the preparation and coordination of government opt out notices (2x per year).
- Other tasks as assigned by the VP.
Requirements

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Either an Associate degree or 3 to 5 years’ experience in related field required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- General knowledge of employee benefits and/or insurance is preferred.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective communications with other employees, producer partners and clients required.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and to shift priorities required.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks required.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office required.
- Experience using Salesforce preferred.
