Bring your creativity and leadership to the kitchen! As a Sous Chef, you will lead a team in creating a nutritious and appealing dining experiences for our wonderful residents.
Responsibilities
- Assists with managing the daily operations of the kitchen, establishes goals for the culinary services department, and trains the kitchen staff regarding food preparation and handling.
- Create menus that drive resident meal satisfaction.
- Serves meals based on residents’ preferences.
- Promotes food safety and sanitation.
- Actively participates in all culinary trainings and welcoming and onboarding new hires.
Qualifications
Qualifications Required
- Commitment to quality service, food quality, and trend knowledge.
- Two years in a cooking role.
Qualifications Preferred
- Completion of a two (2) year Culinary College program.
- Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Food Safety Sanitation Certificate
