What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift position at Beneficial Talent Source?
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Engaged learning under mentor-ship of close supervision of experienced tool and die technicians.
- Provide support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements within operations and engineering.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Maintain a clean orderly work area and support 5S initiatives.
- Plan / perform bench and machine operations requiring simple setups and methods to maintain tolerances.
- Perform difficult and exacting machine operations requiring a variety of setups and methods to maintain tolerances.
- Adjust and repair tools, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
