Summary/Objective This role serves as customer support to members and medical providers. The Customer Care Representative is responsible for supporting the customer by providing excellent customer service and claims management to members and medical providers. They contribute to operational success and directly affect our ability to meet key objectives and deliverables.
BAS is seeking a Customer Care Representative to provide superb customer service to members and medical providers.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a medical clinic setting. Claims processing experience or experience in a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical billing terminology and codes is preferred.
- Superior customer service skills including a sense of urgency and ownership for resolving client issues.
- Strong organization and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
